Certex (Centre de récupération et de recyclage du textile du Grand Montréal) was founded in 1992 as a non-profit corporation. It’s twofold mission is to operate a place of work and socio-professional integration for people with functional limitations, in addition to recycling and reusing clothes, textiles and other pieces of clothing.
Since the beginning, Certex has grown considerably. It’s permanent base of operations, built in 2002, took the form of a modern recycling plant, conceived with the long term needs and objectives of the mission in mind
The Centre de récupération et de recyclage du textile is a non-profit corporation (2953-7339) registered in 1992 under Part III of the Companies Act. The corporation is also recognized as a sheltered work center since 1996, rehabilitation center since 1997, as well as a charity organisation since 1993 (NE : 134447143 RR00001) |
